A very good day for BDRC. Two maiden runners stepped out at Pukekohe and came home with a 1st and a close-up 2nd.
Vendido – 1st, Horizon by SkyCity 1200m
Vendido won his maiden 1200m with Opie Bosson on board. The 4YO has been a work in progress soundness-wise, but thanks to Tommy Burns the gelding is now looking like one to watch.

Billecart – 2nd, 3YO 1200m
Billecart (pronounced “beel-car”, after the French Champagne) did everything wrong in a competitive 3YO 1200m and still managed 2nd, beaten less than a length by the Group 2 and Group 3 placed Parfait Dimanche. Her splits and sectionals were exceptional, all things considered.

Trainers for both horses are the talented Conor and Sarah Fahy.
Congratulations to all our owners.
